1. Landfills are reduced.
One of the reasons why recycling is encouraged is because it reduces strain on the environment. When waste materials are put to good use, landfills are usually reduced. With the increase in population, more waste arise making the landfills not to cope with increased waste. This will result in pollution and other health problems in the cities. Through trash recycling, however, pollution decreased and controlled.
2. Conservation of natural resources.
Some of the waste materials you will get in landfills include scrap cars, used rubber tires, and old bottles. Nevertheless, the resources from which such products are produced is increasingly getting exhausted. To avoid exploitation of new resources, such junk materials are used again and again. As a result, it promotes preservation of various natural resources like oil, water, timber, gas, and coal. Through recycling, the already available materials are utilized. This has made some industries to receive recyclable materials for conversion into another useful item.

Basically, recycling of waste products has become a big industry. After garbage collection and trash pickup, it is sorted and transported to the right places. Thousands of people are involved in the recycling process, thereby creating more employment opportunity.
4. Less energy is saved.
When new items are manufactured from raw materials, so much energy is usually needed. Nevertheless, the creation of new products when using waste materials only require less energy. At the same time, more energy is saved because there is no extraction, transportation, refining, and processing of raw materials. Nevertheless, recycled materials are usually ready for use.
Basically, recycling benefits are usually many although they appear simple. Their effect is, however large. As a result, trash and garbage recycling is encouraged.
